PRESSURE ON BUONO IN DEBATES AS NEW POLLING NUMBERS SHOW BIG CHRISTIE LEAD

While many polls suggest the gubernatorial election is close, the latest Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind Poll doesn’t. The newest FDU numbers say Gov. Chris Christie leads challenger Barbara Buono 58% to 25%. The first debate is being held Tuesday night and there will be a second one next week. If Buono doesn’t do a good job in the debates, most analysts don’t believe she will be able to close the gap enough.
