Over half the state approves of the country’s highest ranking elected official. President Barack Obama sports a 51 percent approval rating in New Jersey, according to the latest Monmouth University poll. The numbers show a slight uptick since Oct.
Meanwhile, Senator Bob Menendez job approval rating stands at 41 percent approve to 26 percent disapprove. Another 33 percent of New Jersey voters still have no opinion of him after six years on the job. This rating is basically unchanged from October. Menendez is seeking reelection this year.
