PRELIMINARY COMPETITION CONCLUDES FOR MISS AMERICA

Thursday was the final night of preliminary competition for the Miss America Scholarship Pageant in Atlantic City. Contestants are scheduled to met the public on Friday, and take part in the Children’s Miracle Mile Walk and Steel Pier Celebration starting at 6 p.m. On Saturday the Miss America Parade will head down the Boardwalk in the annual Show us Your Shoes Parade that steps off at 5 p.m. at New Jersey Avenue at the Garden Pier. The 2016 Miss America Pageant will take place on Sunday night at 9 p.m. in Boardwalk Hall.
