PRAYER VIGIL HELD FOR A.C. SHOOTING VICTIM

A prayer vigil was held on Monday for Shavonne McKee, the 37 year-old grandmother who was shot and killed near her Atlantic City home on July 3rd. Dozens of parishioners from the Resurrection New Covenant Church walked from the church to the crime scene on Virginia Avenue to show support to the community in their time of need. McKee worked as activities coordinator for Our Lady’s Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pleasantville.
