POWER RESTORATION BEGINS FOR ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC

Atlantic City Electric is starting the process of getting the lights back on. Just under 200,000 customers were without power in the Atlantic City Electric grid as of 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. Additional crews have been sent in to assist.  It may take some days for all of the power to be restored. Cape May County had about 24,000 without power, there were around 80,000 customers without in Atlantic County, and around 12,000 in Cumberland County.
