POTENTIAL HEROIN OVERDOSE DISCOVERED OUTSIDE OF HOME DEPOT IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

A dead body was found inside of a vehicle outside of the Home Depot in Middle Township. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the death of Leonard Pantaleo. He had been reported missing by family members the day before. An initial investigation found that several items from the scene were consistent with a heroin overdose, but they are awaiting the final autopsy report. The preliminary report showed no signs of foul play. The discovery was made on Nov. 8 at 10:30 a.m.
