The weather could be a big story in Cape May County on Friday. Emergency management officials throughout the county have been briefed by the National Weather Service about the potential for a significant nor’easter type storm that may slam the county right before the weekend. This storm could bring significant rain, gusty winds, and minor to moderate coastal flooding for the Jersey Cape on Friday. North of the Interstate 95 corridor, this storm could be a major snow event. One to two inches of rain could fall in our region.
