“POPECATION” MAY BENEFIT JERSEY SHORE THIS WEEKEND

The Pope’s arrival in Philadelphia this weekend may be a huge benefit for the Jersey Shore. Some local tourism experts believe despite a mediocre weather forecast, big crowds could be at the shore this weekend as greater Philadelphia area residents flock out of the city to avoid a traffic mess caused by the Pope’s arrival. State Police are ready, and expect most of the heavy traffic heading into Philadelphia along I-295, where some exits may have to be closed due to traffic volume.
