President Barack Obama has increased his lead over Republican challenger Mitt Romney among New Jersey voters according to a recent poll. On Tuesday a new Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press Poll showed Obama leading Mitt Romney by 15 percentage points among likely voters, with Senator Robert Menendez holding an identical lead over state Sen. Joe Kyrillos. The poll indicates that 52 percent favor Obama, while 37 percent back Romney. In July’s Monmouth University poll, Obama led Romney by a margin of eight percent.
