A new poll says state residents approve of Gov. Chris Christie’s job, but won’t vote for a candidate because he endorses them. Quinnipiac University says their data shows a 68 percent approval rating for Christie; but 63 percent also say they wouldn’t vote for a candidate just because Christie endorses that person. The poll also shows Christie with a big lead over his opponent this November, Barbara Buono. The polling has Christie with a 61 to 29 percent lead.
