POLL: STATE RESIDENTS SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE

Gay marriage has the support of state residents, according to a new poll. Quinnipiac University released a poll on Wednesday showing 60 percent of the state supports the issue, versus 31 percent who oppose. Gov. Chris Christie has said if Democrats want to get it approved, put it on the ballot on and let people decide. Democrats want a legislative change immediately. New Jersey only allows for civil unions.
