An alleged scandal may have turned out to be false, but has still impacted the public view of U.S. Senator Robert Menendez. A new poll by Quinnipiac University says that the approval rating for the senator has improved to 40 percent, compared to 37 percent who disapprove. The numbers shows a positive turn this last month, but are below the approval ratings Menendez had prior to an alleged scandal that alleged he had sex with an prostitute. The story turned out to be false when the alleged women said they were paid to lie.
