On the same day that Jeb Bush announced he was going to run for president, Monmouth University released its latest poll. The national poll asked Republicans who they would like to see as the party’s nominee. Gov. Chris Christie only got 4 percent of the support, but the leader was Dr. Ben Carson only came in with 11 percent. The Monmouth University poll noted based on their numbers that there isn’t a top tier of candidates yet, basically saying that its still anyone’s race at this point.
