A current U.S. Senator might be too old to earn reelection. A new poll by Quinnipiac University said that seven in ten state residents think that Frank Lautenberg could be too old to run for reelection in 2014. The senator turned 89-years-old on Wednesday. A separate poll PowerPAC.org, says that Newark Mayor Cory Booker holds a 48 to 21 percent lead over Lautenberg if the two were faced up against one another. Lautenberg hasn’t officially decided whether he wants to run for reelection.
