POLICE OFFICER STRIKE PLEA DEAL IN THEFT FROM UNION

A Vineland police officer admitted to stealing money from his own union over a four year period in court on Monday. Steven R. Buglio claimed to have taken just over $40,000 from 2007 to 2011. He had served as the treasurer and president for the organization. Buglio worked with the Police Benevolent Association Local 266. The plea deal will allow Buglio to miss jail time as a result.
