A couple has been arrested in a string of commercial burglaries. Egg Harbor Township Police Officers arrested John E. Scalise (41) of Secaucus New Jersey, and his wife Kathy Garcia (35) of Orlando Florida on Saturday for committing a series of commercial burglaries that took place in Atlantic County over the past three days. Scalise and Garcia were both charged with being in possession of over $100,000 in stolen property. Scalise was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $350,000 cash bail, but cannot be released on the outstanding fugitive warrants until they are addressed by Florida and Idaho. Garcia was lodged in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
