Atlantic Club Casino won’t be sold, at least to PokerStars. Despite a short term extension given to allow the courts to hear the case, the casino deal is dead now that a judge has ruled. PokerStars missed a key state deadline to get a temporary casino license to purchase the property. The company wanted the casino because of an online gambling bill that had been approved in the state. The parent company for PokerStars believed that the Atlantic Club Casino nixed the deal and didn’t try for an extension because it thinks it can get more money with the new online gambling law in the state.
