POINT INCREASING TAX RATE BY NEARLY FIVE PERCENT

The tax rate is going up in Cape May Point. The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that the borough’s tax rate is going up about five percent. The new $1.8 million budget was passed on Thursday. The 1.2 cent increase brings the overall tax rate up to 25.1 cents.
