PLEASANTVILLE POLICE CAPTAIN HELP EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP POLICE SAVE CHILD

A real police officer is never truly off-duty. A Pleasantville Police Captain Jose Ruiz helped give CPR to a two-year-old, Anthony Alonso on Monday. The child was inside of a vehicle on Ocean Heights Avenue at Swift Drive, in the Bargaintown section of the township. With additional assistance from Egg Harbor Township Police, the child was revived. The child was transported to Shore Medical Center for further treatment.
