A man was stabbed in Egg Harbor Township following an altercation on Sunday morning. The incident took place around 9:17 a.m. at a home on the 2000 block of Ocean Heights Ave. Upon arrival officers located the victim Robert Ford (35) of Pleasantville. Ford had been stabbed twice in the mid-section and required medical assistance. He was transported to the Atlantic City Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect Abdul Nasir (36) also of Pleasantville had reportedly fled the scene prior to police arrival. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Nasir for Aggravated Assault, Burglary, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes. He subsequently turned himself in later in the day. Bail was set at $100,000.
