A 66 year-old man remains in critical condition after taking a beating with a two-by-four Wednesday night. Pleasantville Police have arrested 51 year-old Joseph McCarten on charges of aggravated assault and weapons offenses. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the attack that occurred around 8 p.m. Wednesday night after the two men became involved in an argument.
