The local high school football season begins Friday night with three local teams in action. Middle Township will host Vineland at Memorial Field in Cape May Court House, while Wildwood entertains Gloucester City. Also on Friday night, Ocean City hits the road and visits Absegami. On Saturday, Lower Cape May takes the ferry across the Delaware Bay to play Cape Henlopen of Delaware.
