Plans are moving forward to rehab Sea Isle Blvd. this winter. Cape May County Engineer Dale Foster told Coastal Broadcasting that a number of reports were required by the state. Those are all done at this point and its in the state’s hands to sign off, because there is federal funding involved. Foster said timing is really important because they want to minimize the amount of work that is going on during the Polar Bear Plunge weekend. County officials are hoping for another mild winter like last year, as that will help speed up the work. Among the biggest improvements will include raising the road, which will cut down the amount of flooding on that main route out of the city.
