PLANE CRASH NEAR ATLANTIC CITY, COAST GUARD SEARCHING FOR PILOT

A small plane crashed off the New Jersey coast on Thursday. The Press of Atlantic City reports that 68-year-old Michael Moir, of Michigan, was the pilot in the accident. His Mooney M20 aircraft went down about 7 miles off the coast Thursday afternoon. Debris was found washing ashore near the crash scene. Coast Guard is doing a search for the pilot but hasn’t found the pilot as of yet.
