A Northfield man has died in a plane crash. Virginia State Police confirm the death of Gregory A. Voit that took place Wednesday morning. According to authorities, the pilot reported engine trouble before the small plane crash took place. The plane left from the Woodbine Airport and was heading to the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport.
