PITBULL SHOT IN VINELAND AFTER ATTACKING OFFICER

Vineland Police say they had to shoot a pitbull in the township. The initial report was for a pitbull running loose near the high school. In the process of the dog running loose, it made an attempt to attack an officer. The officer shot the dog in the mouth and animal control took the dog to a veterinarian for treatment.  It was later determined that the owner of the dog is Sabash Badger of 426 S Brewster Road and he was advised of the incident. The dog was confirmed to still be receiving treatment for it’s injuries at this time.
