On Wednesday the New Jersey Pinelands Commission held a public hearing on the state’s management plan for the Pinelands National Reserve. According to The Press of Atlantic City, about 20 people attended the meeting at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building. Comments included a discussion of development within the region that was inconsistent with the Pineland’s mission of preservation. Public recommendations will be accepted through September 28th.
