THE PIER AT CAESARS BOUGHT BY PHILLY INVESTOR

The Press of Atlantic City reports that The Pier at Caesars has been purchased by Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein, who is also looking to build a gaming resort in Center City. The Philadelphia Business Journal quoted the selling price at $2.5 million, but Blatstein would not confirm the selling price being paid by his Tower Investments company. The Pier has been up for sale since October 2011, when U.S. National Bank Association acquired the property in a foreclosure sale.
