PICKUP TRUCK DRIVES INTO THE OCEAN IN WILDWOOD WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The driver of a pickup truck is doing well after the vehicle was driven into the surf at Wildwood’s Spencer Avenue beach Wednesday evening.  Wildwood fire crews responded to the scene; the man driving the truck climbed on to the roof, hopped off, and swam to safety.  Vehicles that responded to the scene became stuck in the sand and had to be pulled out by public works.
