PHILLY POPS CONCERT HELD AT CAPE MAY’S NEW CONVENTION HALL

The first major concert event was held Saturday night at Cape May’s new Convention Hall. The Cape May County Herald reports that the hall was at about 75 percent capacity for the concert by Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra. The musical program opened with Earth, Wind and Fire’s “September”, followed by Peter Nero’s hit from the 70’s, “Summer of 42″ and a variation of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home.”
