PHILLY MAYOR NUTTER COMPARES SOME MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO ISIS

During a conference call on Homeland Security funding, things got interesting when Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter compared some members of Congress to ISIS. The conference call was discussing the issues stemming from a Feb. 27 deadline to fund Homeland Security federally. Nutter said, “That in my opinion, some members of Congress are almost acting like ISIS, putting funding hostage over political gamesplan.” The GOP have been fighting with President Barack Obama over the funding because of executive action he took on immigration issues and homeland security funding has been held up as a result. An hostage of ISIS, Kayla Mueller, was confirmed dead hours prior on Tuesday before Nutter made those comments.
