PETITIONS SUBMITTED AGAINST CREST MEDIAN PROJECT

Petitions have been turned in by a group of residents who do not want to see traffic medians built along Pacific Avenue in Wildwood Crest. The Wildwood Leader reports that petitions containing just over 200 signatures were handed over to the Borough Clerk’s office just before the weekend. Opponents are trying to get an election on the bond ordinance that will finance the medians, and other projects.
