A judge is going to decide whether voters will get to vote on a referendum regarding cuts to police supervising levels. Colin Bell is the attorney representing a group that presented a petition to the commission in Wildwood requesting a referendum on an ordinance to cut back the police supervising levels in the city. Bell said the initial phone conversation happened with Superior Court Judge Valarie Armstrong on Tuesday night and the next hearing will be in February. The city will hold off implementation of the ordinance until a decision by Armstrong, according to Bell.
