A former state senator from Atlantic County who was also a former chairman of the Casino Control Commission will speak on Tuesday night at a forum on the potential impact of casinos in North Jersey. Steven P. Perskie, who was instrumental in bringing casino gambling to Atlantic City, will discuss the controversial ballot question at a 60-minute forum at The Village Grande at English Mill, an over-55 community in Egg Harbor Township. The casino referendum seeks approval for two casinos in two separate New Jersey counties at least 72 miles from Atlantic City.
