The pension fund didn’t bring in as much as previously expected during the last fiscal year. The fund only generated 4.58 percent versus the expected 7.9 percent. It is also well off the previous year’s 16.9 percent haul, which was the fourth year of double digit increases. Their remains one month left in the accounting for the fiscal year but June’s returns aren’t expected to do much for the bottom line of the fund. The lack of high stake returns hurts the overall pension fund, which has languished.
