PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN HAMILTON TOWNSHIP

Another pedestrian vehicle accident was reported in a week. This incident was a hit-and-run and took place along Route 40 in Hamilton Township. The woman, identified as Susan Peters, age 45 of Mays Landing, was walking along the north side shoulder of Route 40 nearly Harley Avenue when she was struck. Peters sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the AtlanicCare Regional Medical Center. The accused vehicle is possibly a gold Nissan Murano with front end damage or right side damage and is missing the right side mirror.
