PEDESTRIAN STRUCK, KILLED BY VEHICLE ON ROUTE 40 IN ATLANTIC CITY

Atlantic City Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle Wednesday night on Route 40.  Police say two off duty officers came across the crash and immediately rendered assistance to the victim.  The 23 year old driver who struck the pedestrian remained on the scene of the accident.
