PEDESTRIAN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH REPORTED IN RIO GRANDE

A woman was taken to the hospital following a pedestrian motor vehicle crash in Rio Grande. Middle Township Police say that Paul Mathis, of Palermo, was traveling south in Route 47 and struck the woman near 2nd St. Robin Gredone, of the Villas, was walking south in the middle of the travel lane. She was taken to the Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Police says that Gredone was at fault for the crash and was wearing dark clothes in an area that was not lit well.
