PEDESTRIAN KILLED IN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

Egg Harbor Township Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian. A 2012 Chevy Sonic operated by Marquee Hartsfield, 22 years of age from Vineland, was travelling west on the Black Horse Pike when he encountered the pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian’s identity is unknown at this time and is described as a thin white male in his 40s or 50s. The pedestrian was treated at the scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus where he was pronounced deceased. The accident remains under investigation.
