Atlantic County authorities report that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Sunday night. The victim, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead after being hit by a 2008 Honda Civic traveling east on the Black Horse Pike around 8:15 p.m. The driver, a 58-year-old woman from Waterford, Camden County, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The crash occurred near McKee Avenue and no charges have been filed.
