County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti has been notified by the U.S. Department of State that U.S. Passport fees will increase effective Tuesday, July 13. The fee for a first time adult applicant for a U.S. Passport Book will increase to $135.00 from $100.00. Fulginiti urges citizens needing a first time passport or renewal by mail to apply by July 12 before the fee increase.
Passport application fees for routine service will increase on July 13 as follows:

Adults renewing their U.S. Passports by mail will pay $110.00 (from 75.00) for routine service.
