Part of the Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has closed 12 days before the gaming hall shuts its doors for good. Regulators approved a new plan on Monday that will allow the Chairman’s Tower to be shuttered down in advance of the casino closure. Another court hearing on the proposed closure is expected on Thursday.
