PARKWAY WIDENING PROJECT IN ATLANTIC COUNTY TO FINISH IN 2018

A Garden State Parkway widening project in Atlantic County is scheduled to conclude this year.  The project is part of a nearly $600 million project that results in the widening of the Parkway from Toms River south towards the shore resorts.  Five bridges are being replaced, and another bridge is being replaced.  The new lanes are currently open north of Galloway Township.
