PARAGLIDER CRITICALLY INJURED ON WILDWOOD BEACH SATURDAY

A paraglider crash landed on the Wildwood beachfront Saturday and was critically injured in the accident.  The Wildwood Fire Department reports that the crash occurred at the Spencer Avenue beach, and the man in the paraglider was unconscious.  He was transferred to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center city division.  A helicopter was called to transport the victim, but could not fly due to weather conditions.
