The four major professional sports league could stand to benefit from sports betting in New Jersey. Senator Jim Whelan and Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo are proposing taking a portion of the proceeds and giving it to the leagues to help protect the integrity of the game and help ensure games aren’t fixed.
