Avalon Mayor Martin Pagliughi is running unopposed in the May election in his community. Monday was the deadline to file nominating petitions and for the seventh time, no candidate stepped up to challenge Pagliughi. He is running on a Team Avalon 2015 slate which includes two incumbents; there is one challenger for one of the two Council seats available in the May 12th municipal election.
