OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR REACTOR BACK ONLINE

Officials report that the Oyster Creek Generating Station began operating at full capacity on Tuesday night. The nation’s oldest nuclear power plant in Lacey Township, was off-line for six weeks as crews performed thousands of inspections and maintenance checks. One-third of the reactor’s fuel was also replaced, to keep the power plant running non-stop for another two years.
