OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR PLANT BACK TO FULL POWER

On Wednesday morning, the Oyster Creek Generating Station was operating at less than full power as crews worked to repair a condenser tube. The plant in Lacey Township was restored to full power by 1pm, as it continued to supply nine per cent of New Jersey’s electricity. The Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant is scheduled to be shut down in 2019 and is the nation’s oldest commercial nuclear reactor in operation.
