OWNER SAYS REVEL WON’T BE OPEN THIS SUMMER

Don’t expect to be visiting Revel Casino this summer. The owner of the casino, Glenn Straub, blamed delays with the power company from getting the casino up and running in time. The two sides can’t agree on how much the utility should be paid for its service and whether Revel should pay for building the power plant. A deal was reached on Tuesday that would allow Straub to leave ACR Energy with multiple weeks notice and allow ACR to challenge the decision in court.
