Assembly Republicans flipped their votes and kept an override veto from going through the Assembly. After the homebuyer tax credit bill passed in the Assembly by a 67-8 vote, and through the Senate, it was vetoed by Gov. Chris Christie. Assembly Republicans did not go against the Governor and switched their votes during the override vote. Without GOP support, the bill has no life and will not proceed any farther.
